Arvid Warnecke has a bachelor's degree and a diploma in computer science from University of Cooperative Education Karlsruhe, Germany. As his diploma thesis he developed a database monitoring system based on SGA panels (Oracle) and currently works as Oracle DBA and database/application developer. He has a background as system administrator; has worked with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Debian, SuSE Linux, Solaris/SunOS and HP-UX. Warnecke also has well grounded knowledge in network technics and dealed with IPv6 in his student research project.
